2. THEAN HOU TEMPLE

One of the oldest and largest Chinese temple in Southeast Asia with spectacular view of city. Visitors can take a plenty of nice photos with red lanterns. The temple really comes to life at times like Chinese New Year and the crowds can be a little daunting. If you want to visit a peaceful temple, it is better to avoid these big days^^

3. BATU CAVE

How to get there:
- Car/ taxi/ grab.
- KTM komuter from KL Sentral.
Batu Cave is one of the attractions in Kuala Lumpur which is only about 13km from KL. There are 272 steps leading to the Batu Cave and the Lord Murugan statue. The top of the stairs bring you to the cave which serves as a Hindu temple. The entrance below Temple Cave is known as Dark Cave where there are many species of cave animals including the endangered Trapdoor Spider.
And in 2018, visitors got more reasons to visit Batu Cave with its new look. All 272 steps of the staircase leading to the Temple Cave have been repainted with a myriad of colours like a rainbow.
4. GENTING HIGHLAND
Genting is the only place where you can gamble legally in Malaysia. The distance of Genting Highland from KL is merely 50km, and normally take about an hour by car or bus from KL Sentral.

5. CHINA TOWN:
Chinatown in Kuala Lumpur is one the older part of Kuala Lumpur. A daily flea market there sells everything from clothes, bags to perfume, electronics and so on. And if you want to buy somethings from there, remember to bargain hard. There are also a number of wonderful street food in China town.
Petaling Street is easy accessible by car or by public transport. You can get on the Kelana Jaya Line and get down at the Pasar Seni LRT Station and a short walking distance will get you to Petaling Street.
